Job summary

Gehl Food & Beverage in California is seeking a Downline Line Machine Operator for the 3rd shift, 6:00pm - 6:30am AWS. The role runs multiple machine systems, adheres to SOPs, quality standards and regulatory requirements to ensure product conformity.

You'll participate in basic maintenance, document production data, and support safety and GMP rules. The company offers on-demand pay, quarterly bonuses, full benefits, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and growth opportunities in a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Ability to read and interpret production logs and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and prevent deviations.
• Mathematical skills for unit conversions and batch quantities.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, GMP, and OSHA-related requirements and use PPE as directed.
• Train on Downline systems and operate equipment per SOPs.
• Assist with startup, operation, and shutdown activities and monitor parameters.
• Support quality inspections and verify codes and materials.
• Document production data and downtime accurately and promptly.
• Maintain FIFO and assist with staging and organizing production materials.
• Uphold 5S standards and keep work area clean and compliant.
• Report equipment issues promptly to supervision.
• Support basic Autonomous Maintenance tasks as directed.
• Develop process knowledge toward Downline operator qualification.
