Qualifications

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to solve problems.
• Basic arithmetic to perform measurements and conversions.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Understanding of GMPs, HACCP, SOPs and sanitation practices in food industry.
• High school diploma or GED required; up to one month related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough as directed by line lead or shift supervisor, following usage sheets.
• Ensure correct ingredients are used and prepare coating for production line use.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely records of ingredient usage and other required records.
• Ensure an adequate supply of necessary ingredients is on hand.
• Check dough-making equipment is properly maintained for safe operation.
• Cut sections from mother dough and deposit into feed hopper.
• Roll empty dough table to mixer to receive new batch of dough.
• Maintain work area to meet plant sanitation and safety standards.
• Inspect all ingredients for packaging quality and foreign materials.
• Report deficiencies affecting product quality to shift supervisor or line lead.
• Perform all other related work as assigned.
