Responsibilities

• Operate a double needle sewing machine for upholstery.
• Follow instructions on production ticket and sew notes.
• Perform preventive maintenance on sewing machines.
• Sew fabric or leather parts to meet quality and look of each style.
• Use hand tools such as scissors and other tools.
• Learn preventive maintenance for sewing machines and maintain your own machines.
• Perform other duties as required for RH to be successful.

The Double Needle Sewer will sew decorative stitches using a double needle upholstery sewing machines according to quality and product specifications.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate a double needle sewing machine to sew fabric and leather upholstery decorative double stitch and top stitch.
• Reads and follows instructions on production ticket and sew notes.
• Sews fabric or leather parts together to meet the quality requirements and desired look of each style.
• Uses hand tools such as scissors, and other tools.
• Learns Preventive Maintenance for all sewing machines and maintains their own machines.
• Performs other duties as required for RHM to be successful, including outside of their regular work area.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
• Ability to consistently lift and mobilize furniture and accessories in excess of 50 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelines
