Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Louisville, KY is seeking a skilled .NET Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and EF. You will work with front-end basics and modern frameworks, perform database work in SQL Server, and participate in CI/CD practices.

The role requires strong communication, Agile/Scrum collaboration, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable software architectures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C# and .NET technologies.
• Strong knowledge of .NET Framework, .NET Core, and recent versions.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework.
• Skilled in front-end basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Exposure to Angular, React, or Blazor frameworks.
• Proficient in SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Experience with SSIS development and deployment.
• Familiar with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git for version control.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and cloud tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to analyze requirements and design scalable, secure architectures.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments; stakeholder management; timely delivery.
• Participation in code reviews and adherence to coding standards.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Proficiency in C# programming language
• Strong knowledge of .NET Framework, .NET Core, and latest .NET versions
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)

• Competency in SQL Server and relational database management (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization)
• Development and deployment of SSIS package
• Skilled in Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git for version control
• Experience with Google Cloud is a plus - Understanding of unit testing frameworks (MSTest, NUnit, xUnit) and debugging tools - Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements
• Skill in designing scalable, maintainable, and secure application architectures
• Effective verbal and written communication for collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Preparation of technical documentation and user guides
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Stakeholder management and ensuring timely delivery of features

Salary Range: $100,000- $120,000 a year
