Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Owings Mills, MD is seeking an experienced Engineer to lead design and development of scalable .NET full-stack applications. You will build back-end services with C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API, and craft responsive front-end apps using Angular or React.

Modernize legacy apps and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS. Responsibilities include designing APIs, CI/CD pipelines, architecture governance, and mentoring a development team in an onsite-offshore

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable, secure .NET full-stack applications.
• Develop back-end services using C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, EF Core.
• Develop responsive front-end apps using Angular or React and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Modernize legacy .NET Framework apps and migrate workloads to supported .NET versions and cloud-native architectures.
• Design and implement AWS solutions across compute, storage, database, and security services.
• Create technical designs, API specs, coding standards, test strategies, and deployment plans.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code templates.
• Mentor developers, perform code reviews, and enforce engineering standards.
• Optimize performance, reliability, observability, and cloud cost efficiency.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in application design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and production support using Microsoft technologies.
• Strong experience with modern .NET, including .NET 10, .NET 9, and .NET 8, along with earlier .NET and .NET Core versions used in legacy applications.
• Strong hands‑on experience with .NET Framework 4.x, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Windows Services, and legacy application maintenance or modernization.
• Advanced proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, dependency injection, asynchronous programming, and design patterns.
• Full‑stack development experience using Angular or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and reusable component development.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, event‑driven solutions, and secure system integrations.
• Hands‑on AWS experience with EC2, ECS or EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, IAM, and CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Experience containerizing applications with Docker and deploying workloads through Kubernetes or AWS‑managed container services.
• Strong database skills using SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including schema design, stored procedures, query tuning, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated builds, code quality controls, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment automation.
