Job summary

Precision Technologies in the United States seeks a senior backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and RESTful APIs.

You will build server-side components, microservices, and integrate Azure-based services, Azure DevOps pipelines, and modern architectures while following SOLID, clean architecture, and best practices. Collaboration in Agile ceremonies and emphasis on security and performance are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C#, ASP.NET MVC, and RESTful APIs for enterprise web apps.
• Build server-side components, microservices, and backend modules with .NET Core, EF, and LINQ.
• Develop and integrate Azure-based services (App Services, Functions, SQL, Storage, ADO) and API Management.
• Adhere to SOLID, clean architecture, and design patterns for secure, scalable code.
• Work with SQL Server, create stored procedures, views, and optimize data access with EF/EF Core.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps for automated build, test, deploy across environments.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
• Integrate third-party systems, identity providers (OAuth, JWT, SSO), and messaging frameworks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, document technical work, assist in sprint planning and DevOps automation.
• Ensure security, compliance, and cloud governance aligned with standards.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and RESTful APIs for enterprise-grade web applications.
• Build server-side components, microservices, and backend modules using .NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework, LINQ, and modern architectural patterns.
• Develop and integrate Azure-based services including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps (ADO), Key Vault, API Management, and Event-driven components.
• Implement secure, scalable, and optimized application logic following SOLID principles, OOP, clean architecture, design patterns, and best engineering practices.
• Work with SQL Server, create complex stored procedures, views, indexing strategies, and ensure efficient data access using EF/EF Core.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) for automated build, testing, and deployment across environments.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, exception handling, and root cause analysis for complex application issues.
• Integrate third-party systems, APIs, identity providers (OAuth, JWT, SSO), and messaging frameworks (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Service Bus).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, write detailed technical documentation, and contribute to sprint planning, story grooming, and DevOps automation.
• Ensure application security, compliance, and cloud governance aligned with organizational standards.

Required Skills:

• Entity Framework / EF Core, LINQ

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, or other containerization platforms.
• Hands-on with Message Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
• Exposure to microservices, DDD, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems design.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, automated testing, and performance engineering.
