Envision Technology Solutions in Berkeley Height, NJ (All 5 days onsite) is seeking a skilled .NET developer to design and build scalable applications using C#, .NET Core / .NET 8+, and ASP.NET Core. You will design secure RESTful APIs, work with microservices, and optimize SQL Server / PostgreSQL databases while collaborating with Product, QA, and DevOps teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET 8+, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core / LINQ and SQL Server / PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of Microservices architecture and OOP concepts.
• Knowledge of REST API design, JSON, and Web APIs.
• Proficiency with Git (GitHub, Azure DevOps, or GitLab).

Job Description.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Develop high-quality, scalable applications using .NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 8+, and C#.
• API Development: Design and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Database Management: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL).
• System Optimization: Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize code to improve performance, responsiveness, and application stability.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Frontend Developers, QA, and DevOps) to deliver new features and technical enhancements.
• Code Quality & Testing: Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests (xUnit/NUnit), and follow CI/CD best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Core Tech: Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET 8+, and ASP.NET Core.
• Database Experience: Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core / LINQ and relational databases (SQL Server / PostgreSQL).
• Architecture: Good understanding of Microservices architecture, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and design patterns.
• Web Standards: Solid grasp of REST API design standards, JSON, and Web APIs.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git (GitHub, Azure DevOps, or GitLab).
