SummaryThe DOT Safety Specialist will champion safety and compliance across our Transportation and Logistics AFD DepartmentThis role involves planning, directing, and implementing safety activities to promote health and safety in the DOT space. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing safety plans, conducting training, performing audits and inspections, and investigating incidents to identify root causes and recommend preventative measures.
This is a hybrid position, and will sit in our main office in Inver Grove Heights, MN. The individual will be working in the office 3+ days/week.
This individual will be covering a territory around Central MN, with potential for a few locations outside the region.Our ideal candidate will have the ability to travel (up to 25%) to locations within the territory.

ResponsibilitiesCHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
