Role Description

The DOT Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of safety and regulatory compliance for DICK LAVY TRUCKING INC. This full‑time, on‑site role in Bradford, OH includes monitoring driver safety performance, managing DOT files and records, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Day‑to‑day tasks involve conducting safety audits and inspections, reviewing logs and reports, coordinating drug and alcohol testing programs, and addressing violations or incidents with corrective actions. The DOT Safety Manager will develop and deliver safety training, update policies and procedures, and collaborate with operations and drivers to promote a robust safety culture. This role also gathers and analyzes safety data to recommend process improvements and support continuous compliance.
