Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Class A CDL driver to operate a commercial tractor-trailer for daily route deliveries to store locations. You will load/unload using pallet jacks and lift gates, follow schedules, and maintain safety through pre/post trip inspections in accordance with FMCSA and company rules.

The role requires Hazmat endorsement, a valid CDL, and the ability to work a 5-day schedule with no weekends. Premiums and performance-based raises may apply.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical status.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests.
• Must possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.
• Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.
• Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.

Compensation Pay Range

$30.00 - $34.00

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Potential first year earnings of $88,530.00 based upon average route hours; actual annual earnings may vary based upon length of route.

Operate a class 8 tractor-trailer providing safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries to store locations as part of our company fleet.

Essential Job Functions
