Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a candidate to provide broad IT portfolio management support for the DOT, CPIC processes and investment management, including budget formulation and execution, tracking workflows, and documenting meeting minutes.

The role is on-site at DOT HQ in Washington DC, requires 1–3 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• On-site work at DOT HQ in Washington, DC.
• Must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD “Public Trust”.
• US citizen located within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT portfolio management support for DOT, CPIC and investment management processes.
• Budget formulation and budget execution support.
• Business process reengineering.
• Research government-wide and DOT IT policy; validate IT budget formulation and execution IT data.
• Track progress on workflows and develop meeting minutes.
• Perform document control and support reporting of IT data.
• Be responsive and proactive in responding to client needs.

What You Will Do:

• Provide a broad range of technical services in support of DOT's Information Technology (IT) portfolio, Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and investment management processes and functions, to include:

  • DOT-Wide IT Portfolio Management Support
  • Budget Formulation Support
  • Budget Execution Support
  • Business Process Reengineering

• You will also perform research on government-wide and DOT IT policy; validate IT budget formulation and execution IT data.

• Track progress on workflows

• Develop meeting minutes and track actions.

• Perform document control

• Support reporting of IT formulation and execution data

• Be responsive and proactive in responding to client needs.

What You Will Need:

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD “PUBLIC TRUST”.

• Based on our contractual obligations, candidate must be located within the United States and US Citizen.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.

• One (1) to Three (3) years of experience.

• Work on-site at DOT HQ in Washington DC.

• Understanding of how to prioritize tasks

• Background in financial management with the ability perform detailed analysis on IT budget formulation and execution data.

• Attention to detail, work in a matrixed team.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience with OMB IT portfolio management and CPIC data, processes, and reporting.

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
