Job summary

Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Henderson, NV is hiring a Part Time DOT Driver to safely deliver box trucks and assist with on-site vehicle movements. You will work outdoors in various weather conditions, upholding excellent customer service and DOT requirements. Schedule includes weekday mornings with Sundays and Saturdays off.

The role requires a valid NV driver’s license, 21+ years old, and at least 6 months driving experience; DOT rules apply. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have NV driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions (ie., DUI/DWI) on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• 6 months work experience required (experience working with box trucks considered a plus).
• DOT requirements compliance as per Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road.
• Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner.
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles.
• Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone.
• May be asked to clean vehicles.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Overview

The Enterprise Truck Rental Division has an immediate opening for a Part Time DOT Driver. The DOT Driver is responsible for delivering box trucks safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service. This position works outside in all weather conditions to safely distribute vehicles on and off the lot. Candidates will be asked to drive Vehicles that require DOT certifications.

The pay for this position is $13.35 / hr and is located at 1050 W Warm Springs Road Henderson, NV 89014.

This position does not allow for any other paid employment - No Moonlighting.

Responsibilities

The Driver is responsible for the transporting of medium duty trucks, cargo's and heavy duty pickup trucks to and from rental locations, dealerships and vendors, as well as navigating written directions.

We are subject to certain Department of Transportation Regulations

Applicants will be required to submit an appropriate medical examiner's certificate, or submit to and successfully complete a D.O.T. medical examination.
