Job summary

Enterprise’s Remarking Division is hiring Part Time DOT Drivers in Shreveport, LA. You will deliver box trucks to destinations, work outdoors in all weather, and operate DOT‑certified vehicles with safety and courtesy.

Position requires Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; pay is $10.25 per hour. Benefits include PTO, employee discount, and retirement plan options. Training and development are provided where needed.

Overview

The Enterprise Remarking Division has immediate openings for Part Time DOT Drivers. Our goal is to provide high service levels and clean, well-maintained trucks. The DOT Driver is responsible for delivering box trucks safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service. This position works outside in all weather conditions to safely distribute vehicles on and off the lot. Candidates will be asked to drive Vehicles that require DOT certifications.

This position pays $10.25 / hour and is located at 1205 Mercedez Benz Drive Shreveport, LA 71115.

This is a Part Time position and does not allow for any other paid employment - No Moonlighting.

Qualified candidates must be able to work Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Responsibilities

The Driver is responsible for the transporting of medium duty trucks, cargo's and heavy duty pickup trucks to and from rental locations, dealerships and vendors, as well as navigating written directions.

• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road
• Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles
• Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely
• May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone
• May be asked to clean vehicles
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation and/or at-fault accident on driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions (ie., DUI/DWI) on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.

DOT Requirements

We are subject to certain Department of Transportation Regulations

• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations. Applicants will be required to submit an appropriate medical examiner's certificate, or submit to and successfully complete a D.O.T. medical examination. No moonlighting is allowed (no other paid employment allowed).
