Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) is seeking a DOT Compliance Driver Trainer based out of our Orlando location. The role focuses on developing Coke Florida Driver Merchandisers with targeted driving skill training and preparing individuals to attain their CDL Class A for Driver Merchandiser positions.

The trainer will deliver both classroom theory and behind-the-wheel training while adhering to FMCSA guidelines and Coke Florida safety policies.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL and clean MVR required.
• Minimum 21 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Extensive knowledge of CDL and DOT regulations.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Certification to operate manual and powered pallet jacks.
• High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with FMCSA guidelines.
• Prepare weekly driving behavior reports.
• Schedule and perform ride-alongs to observe and coach changes in driving behavior.
• Attend driver graduation at driving school.
• Provide coaching, teaching and feedback to new and current drivers.
• Perform random gate checks and driver audits.
• Coordinate vehicle accident prevention strategies and training.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
