Job summary

Lonestar Electric Supply in New Jersey is seeking a motivated DOT Delivery Driver to join our team. You will safely operate delivery vehicles, comply with DOT regulations, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers while maintaining accurate logs.

The ideal candidate has at least 18 months of delivery experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test. You will support warehouse operations and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 18 months commercial driving/delivery experience with DOT knowledge.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate DOT-regulated delivery vehicles and comply with regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate DOT logs (HOS) using ELDs or logs.
• Load/unload products, ensuring weight limits and securement.
• Securely transport products and ensure protection during transit.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance per DOT rules.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including receiving and stocking.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per company policy.
• Adhere to safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Provide timely, professional customer service and communication.
• Report accidents or violations to management per DOT guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
