Lovett Logistix DSP in Temple Hills, Maryland is hiring reliable DOT Delivery Drivers to transport packages to customers safely and on schedule. The position requires physical work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and loading the van quickly each shift.

Drivers will operate in varying weather, use handheld routing devices, and maintain punctual deliveries. Full-time role with benefits and a company vehicle provided; CDL not required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Familiarity with route driving and commercial driving techniques.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting and physical work.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadline.
• 21 years of age.
• Successfully pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a reliable DOT Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner while adhering to delivery schedules. Safety is the priority.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at ALL times.
• Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions (rain/snow/any type of inclement weather). Load and unload packages to be delivered. Must be able to load their van in 15 minutes.
• CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers. Must be polite to all customers.
• Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Able to get in and out of van over 200 times a day and walk up and down stairs through your shift
• Adhere to traffic laws/regulations
