Job summary

Lovett Logistix LLC in Forestville, Maryland, is seeking a professional delivery driver for a full-time role. You will safely operate a company vehicle, deliver products to customers, and provide courteous service on every stop.

The ideal candidate has a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 70–150 lbs. In addition to competitive pay, the company offers health insurance, paid time off, paid training, a referral program, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages 70 lbs up to 150 lbs
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle and navigate a delivery route efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers on a timely basis.

• Ensure that all deliveries are accurate and in good condition.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is well-maintained and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and manage necessary paperwork.
• Follow designated routes and schedules, but also be prepared to handle route adjustments as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring they are secured properly.
