Position Summary

The primary duty of the DOT Delivery Driver is to deliver product, invoice customers, rotate back stock, build displays, fill windows, and work on daily damaged reports. The employee is responsible for route checks, truck inspections, and may supervise a helper.

Requirements

A Texas Class A CDL is required. Please complete the DOT application in its entirety to be considered.

Job Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain strong business relationships with retail customers and ensure effective communication.
2. Assist with delivery of beverages, including loading, unloading, and organizing stock at customer locations.
3. Count, verify, and fill back stock and retail shelves; ensure accuracy of orders and obtain customer signatures and payments.
4. Maintain organized back stock areas and ensure cleanliness and safety.
5. Complete all necessary paperwork, including deposits and delivery reports.
6. Operate company equipment safely, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and report any issues.
7. Refuel and maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicle.
8. Adhere to all safety standards and company policies, including DOT regulations.
9. Build displays as required and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Valid Texas Class A CDL with a clean MVR.
2. Ability to operate a 27 ft. truck with a single axle trailer.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
4. Excellent communication skills and team participation.
5. Motivated, results-oriented, with keen attention to detail and organization.
6. Basic math skills, ability to read/write English, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
7. Physical ability to move up to 165 lbs., and work in various weather conditions.
8. High school diploma or GED; must be 21 or older.
