Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a Trailer Mechanic for our Meriden, CT facility. The role requires DOT inspection certification and 3–5+ years of tank trailer repair experience. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, service tanks and trailers, and ensure compliance with DOT HM183 and hazmat standards.

Join a team backed by Quala, Boasso Global and PSC with dedicated benefits, a Monday–Friday first shift, and a pay range of $22.00–$42.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• DOT inspection certified mechanic required.
• 3–5+ years of tank trailer repair experience.
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
• Welding experience with TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon is a plus.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50–75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and perform repairs on tank trailers and related equipment.
• Service tanks and trailers to DOT HM183 standards and hazmat requirements.
• Repair suspension components and perform inspections for quality and safety.
• Follow safety procedures and document work performed.
