Job summary

One Physics is seeking a Medical Dosimetrist to collaborate with physicians, physicists, and clinical staff to develop high‑quality treatment plans. The role is located in Wayne County, Iowa, with a brand new center opening in December 2026 and supports a busy patient workflow of about 15 cases per day.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of clinical dosimetry experience, MD certification with MDCB, and proficiency in Elekta Monaco and MOSAIQ.

Qualifications

• MD certification in current good standing with MDCB.
• BS or MS from an accredited program or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Dosimetrist.
• Proficiency with Elekta Monaco & MOSAIQ.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize treatment plans using 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS.
• Perform contouring, image registration, and dose accumulation processes.
• Document treatment planning and delivery details throughout patient care cycle.
• Collaborate with physicians, physicists, therapists, nurses, and staff for coordinated care.
• Maintain clinic safety, QA, and documentation standards.

Position Overview

The Medical Dosimetrist will work collaboratively with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, and other clinical staff to develop and implement accurate, high‑quality treatment plans. This role is ideal for professionals with foundational experience who are ready to take on more responsibility and contribute meaningfully to patient care and clinical operations.

This role will be based in Wayne County, Iowa.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize treatment plans using techniques such as 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS
• Perform contouring, image registration (rigid and deformable), and dose accumulation processes
• Document treatment planning and delivery details throughout the patient care cycle
• Collaborate with physicians, physicists, therapists, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain compliance with clinic standards for safety, quality assurance, and documentation

Clinic Information

• This position is based in Wayne County, Iowa
• This is a brand new center set to open in December 2026
• 15 patients per day
• Elekta Evo Linac, Elekta Monaco, Elekta Moasiq

Qualifications

• MD certified in current good standing with MDCB

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Dosimetrist
• Proficiency with Elekta Monaco & MOSAIQ
• Additional experience with fusion, Plan QA creation, AI contouring, EQD2/BED calculations, and second‑check systems preferred
