Join to apply for the Doral #80 Bartender role at Flanigan's Enterprises, Inc.

Our bartenders are life-of-the-party, gregarious Rockstars, who know most of their regulars by name. It’s a family-run restaurant welcoming people from all over for great food, drinks, and fun. We serve continuously from open until late night, providing a home away from home for many Floridians.

Responsibilities include:

• Following all safety and sanitation policies and training
• Mixing liquor and drink ingredients per recipes and measures
• Serving guests cheerfully and maintaining a professional appearance
• Maintaining a clean, stocked bar
• Verifying correct drink pricing
• Serving food as per the Server Job Description
• Knowing drink promotions and specials, answering guest questions
• Entering orders accurately into POS system
• Assessing guests’ demeanor, identifying intoxicated guests, and knowing when to call a manager
• Handling payments and ensuring transaction accuracy
• Performing shift changes, opening/closing duties, and sidework
• Standing/walking 100% of shift, reaching, bending, stirring, wiping, shaking drinks
• Immersing hands in water frequently and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Communicating effectively in English, reading and writing guest checks and notes
• Completing Florida Responsible Vendor and food safety certification programs
• Requesting proper identification and calculating guests’ age
