Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Bayport, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead I (Doors) on the 1st shift. Lead a production team of 5–40 associates, provide coaching, and drive AMS-based improvements to meet SQDC metrics.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for daily Tier1 leadership and cross-teams collaboration. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement while coordinating with value stream teams to optimize production flow and training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in manufacturing operations.
• Lean training or certification preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, changeover and preventative maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the continuous flow of production to meet planned output while following safety, quality, delivery, cost, and maintenance standards.
• Provide feedback and coaching; lead daily Tier1 meetings and train production employees.
• Maintain cross-training matrix and support AMS projects and initiatives.
• Lead safety, quality, and cost improvement initiatives; use AMS tools for problem solving.
• Complete standard work audits and corrective actions from MCA process.
• Provide support across production areas as needed, including coverage and cycle counting.
