Job summary

OrePac Building Products is seeking a meticulous Production Associate I for the door shop. The role involves operating saws, routers, and hand tools to machine and assemble pre-fabricated doors, while adhering to SOPs and safety guidelines. You will handle heavy panels, stand for long periods, and work in a team-focused environment.

Training is provided; prior experience is a plus, but not required. Workforce health, PTO, and comprehensive benefits accompany the opportunity in Sacramento, CA.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read/write in English for safety and production procedures.
  • Adherence to safety policies and PPE requirements.
  • Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Read door work orders and stay informed on terminology and components.
  • Assist in assembling and prepping prefabricated doors using saws, routers, and hand tools.
  • Review paperwork before/during/after production to ensure quality.
  • Palletize, package, and stage doors for shipment per specifications.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work area and support safety rules.
  • Collaborate with team to identify and implement improvements.
