Job summary

KPS Global LLC is seeking a Team Lead for the Manufacturing team in Fort Worth, TX. You will coach and develop team members, manage daily production activities, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency across shifts.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, strong communication, basic computer skills, and familiarity with lean practices. Spanish is a plus. This on-site position offers growth opportunities in a modern production environment.

Qualifications

  • Good verbal and written communication in English.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to analyze, perform root cause analysis, and have mechanical aptitude.
  • Spanish language ability preferred.
  • High School Diploma and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, safety and quality standards.
  • Willingness to perform HR duties as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coaching, training, counseling, and evaluating team members against production, safety, quality, and management standards.
  • Managing team productivity, safety, and efficiency; communicating objectives status to the team.
  • Performing duties in assigned area including assembly, machine operator, and material handling.
  • Resolving issues via root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Inspecting products to ensure conformance to quality, engineering, and customer requirements.
  • Completing electronic paperwork, checklists, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping materials.
  • Upholding Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Code of Conduct.
  • Maintaining housekeeping and 5S standards.
  • Taking on additional tasks/projects as department needs.

Required Experience

  • Proven ability to understand commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing environment
  • Complete understanding of job flow principles and the impact of events in delaying downstream processes
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, safety, and quality standards
  • Basic understanding of carrying out HR duties
  • Must be able to stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of the workday
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs alone and over 50 lbs with assistance
  • Must be able to climb and balance
  • Must be able to use hands to reach, handle, and/or feel
