Job summary

PTMW, Inc. in Topeka, KS is seeking a reliable laborer for the doors department. You will assemble door kits, place them on metal buildings, and help meet quality and safety standards.

Training provided; no prior experience required. 10-hour shifts 5:30am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday with possible overtime in a climate-controlled environment. You will monitor inventory using the GSS ERP System, label and store incoming stock, perform physical counts, and prep materials for kitting from BOMs or work

Qualifications

• Ability to operate power tools.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• General understanding of construction methods.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent work history with attendance and tenure.

Responsibilities

• Assemble door kits and put on enclosures
• Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory records using GSS ERP System.
• Receive, label, and store incoming inventory according to company procedures.
• Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies with digital records.
• Pick and prepare materials/components for kitting based on bills of materials (BOMs) or work orders.
• Assemble kits accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required components are included.
• Coordinate with procurement and fabrication teams to forecast and manage inventory.
