Job summary

Schwieters Companies, Inc. is hiring a full-time 2nd shift Millwork Door Jamb Builder in Minnesota. You will select materials for jambs and stops, stitch and cut jambs, and prepare door orders for on-time delivery within a safety-conscious warehouse.

The role requires ability to lift 50–75 lbs, forklift experience, and reliability with overtime. Benefits include medical/dental and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Previous material handler experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Good work history.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds comfortably.
• Self-motivated, self-directed team player.
• Able to understand and follow written/verbal instructions; detail oriented.
• Capable of standing for extended periods.
• Flexible with overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Pick materials for jambs and stops.
• Stitch door jambs.
• Cut and stitch jamb heads and strike jambs to size.
• Pick door orders from a pick ticket.
• Wrap, bundle, and load material properly to be shipped or delivered.
• Manage orders to be completed in full and on time.
• Inspect all material for quality.
• Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Have constant communication with department lead on progress with work orders.
• Work together with a team throughout the warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency with 100% complete and on-time deliveries.
• Pick material using a stand/sit forklift as needed.
• Assist with accurate inventory counting for door jambs and stops.
• Keep stock bins full for door operators.
• Other duties as assigned

WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday-Friday, 2:30-11pm, overtime as needed (2nd shift)
  • Train on 1st shift

PAY

• $21/hr. (2nd shift)
