Allegion is seeking an Install Technician for Stanley Access Technologies, offering remote work in North Carolina. The role involves installing and servicing automatic doors, with AAADM Certification supported and a base hourly range of $25.00-$30.00.

The job requires a high school diploma, a valid license, and the ability to lift heavy loads, work nights or weekends as needed. You will maintain records, follow ANSI standards, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to sit while driving for periods up to 2 hours, stand on concrete up to 8 hours.
• Stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, twisting spine occasionally.
• Vision not limited to near, far or colors.
• Ability to work in various climates.
• Flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation or service work as designated in a profitable and proper manner.
• Record productive time versus travel time.
• Perform preventive maintenance as designated for specific customers.
• Maintain accurate work records and parts used.
• Keep updated on changes to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards.
• Keep manuals and details up to date as changes are advised.
• Maintain company vehicles and tools.
• Present a neat and professional appearance.
• Maintain inventory for the service vehicle and log it.
• Test equipment before leaving job site and perform safety checks.
• Maintain good customer relations and service quality.
• Instruct others in install/service methods.
