Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of door hardware, locksmith, or related maintenance experience required.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and electro-mechanical locksets; repair, adjust, replace, or upgrade as needed.
• Coordinate with electrical trades staff and IT when troubleshooting or installing door hardware.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ADA door operators, door closers, and related hardware.
• Shim hinges and adjust doors/frames for proper fit and swing.
• Assist Locksmith with pinning cylinders, installing cores, and changing room cores when needed.
• Keep tools, service vehicle, and workspace clean, organized, and safe.
• Respond to radio, phone, email, and work orders to perform repairs or replacements.
• Maintain inventory of door and frame hardware for quick replacements.
• Operate standard office software and learn new computer applications as needed.
• Provide support for event set-ups when required.
