Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team member for asset protection at our Michigan store. You will deter theft by maintaining a visible presence at entry points and throughout the store, engaging with customers and verifying receipts when needed.

The role focuses on safety, incident documentation, and rapid response to alerts to protect both customers and coworkers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of customer service or asset protection experience.
• Clear and professional written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to move through the store for long periods and respond quickly to alerts.

Responsibilities

• Prevent theft through active presence and engagement with customers.

Prevents theft through constant awareness of customer activity and urgently engaging with customers to validate receipts and recover unpaid merchandise.
