Job summary

The United Family of Companies is seeking a warehouse assembler to build out commercial door, frame, and hardware assemblies for delivery to project sites. You will hang hollow-metal doors, install hinges, closers, locksets, exit devices, and ensure proper swing and seal per specifications.

Bring hands-on hardware experience, blueprints reading, forklift certification, and your own tools. You will stage and ship finished assemblies, maintain a clean work area, and coordinate with shop leadership

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial door hardware and assemblies.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret hardware schedules.
• Own hand tools and troubleshoot without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble doors and frames square, plumb, and true with correct clearances.
• Install hinges, closers, locksets, exit devices, and weatherstripping per hardware schedule.
• Test and adjust hardware for proper operation before shipment.
• Work from schedules, shop drawings, and blueprints.
• Stage and label finished assemblies for shipment to the jobsite.
• Keep the shop clean and compliant with safety requirements.
• Coordinate with shop leadership on priorities and shipping timelines.
