Old Castle Building Envelope in Terrell, TX, is seeking an Assembler 2 for the Nights 2nd Shift to build doors and frames under supervision of the Production Supervisor. You will contribute to fabrication with attention to safety, quality, and efficiency.

The position emphasizes reading drawings, using power tools, and accuracy in measurement. Team collaboration, reliability, and the ability to adapt to varied schedules are required.

Qualifications

• Experience using power tools, machinery, and reading a tape measure (to 1/16”).
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and perform basic math.
• Effectively multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with peers and management; flexible to work varied schedules and cross-train as needed.
• An uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Perform general fabrication and assembly of doors using hand and power tools.
• Drill holes and prepare materials according to work orders, fabrication sheets, and schedules.
• Measure workpiece dimensions and conduct quality inspections to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure parts meet specifications by following prints, worksheets, and shop drawings while completing tasks with minimal supervision.
