Clayton Homes is hiring a Layup Operator in Morristown, TN to support the door assembly line. The role involves rotating through Feeder, Panel Flip, Door Build, and Sorter while meeting daily production goals and maintaining quality standards.

You will verify specifications, inspect parts, and keep the work area clean at shift end. The position emphasizes teamwork, dependability, and the ability to read traveler tickets and measure parts.

Responsabilités

• Learn duties of Feeder, Panel Flip, Door Build, and Sorter.
• Rotate to each job after completing 15 stacks of 30 doors.
• Review Traveler Ticket to verify door size and stile size.
• Inspect door parts for defects (Stile, Rail, Lock Block, Core).
• Feed parts in order: Stile, Rail, Lock Block, Core.
• Maintain pace for 30 assembled doors per 8:30 minutes.
• Keep work area clean at end of shift.
• Perform Door Build assembly of interior doors with components.
