Job summary

Clayton Homes in Morristown, TN, is seeking a 3rd shift Production Operator to assemble, machine, and finish door components in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will read blueprints, use measuring tools, and perform quality checks while maintaining safety standards; lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods are required. A GED or high school diploma and 1–3 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing, woodworking, or construction experience preferred.
• Experience with doors, windows, or millwork production is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints and measuring tools.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, power tools, and assembly equipment to manufacture doors according to production schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications to ensure proper materials and finishes.
• Inspect parts and finished products for quality and compliance.
• Move raw materials, door slabs, frames, and hardware using proper lifting techniques.
• Document production data and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
