Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a team member for the Door Shop to prep and assemble pre-hung door units, operate saws and nail guns, manage inventory, and support production on a goal-oriented lean/5S environment.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, maintaining tools and equipment, coordinating with Foreman, meeting production schedules, and contributing to continuous improvement through Lean/5S while delivering professional, respectful teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong and professional communication skills.

• High school diploma is required.
• Pass background check.
• Basic knowledge of common hand tools and pneumatic tools.
• Basic knowledge of fractions and reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Door Shop assembly area to prep and assemble pre-hung door units.
• Operate saws and nail guns, assist with materials, sweep, paint, organize the shop, and count inventory.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, respectful, ethical demeanor with customers, clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Participate in Lean/5S and continuously improve processes.
• Follow production schedules and communicate with the Foreman.
• Identify lulls in production and shift support to teammates.
• Receive and carry out tasks issued by Foreman.
