The Production Operator at Clayton is responsible for the efficient assembly, machining, and finishing of door components in a manufacturing setting. You will follow blueprints, operate equipment, inspect parts, and maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand work orders, blueprints, and measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, power tools, and assembly equipment to manufacture doors according to production schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications to ensure proper materials, measurements, and finishes.
• Inspect parts and finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor equipment adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Handle and move raw materials, door slabs, frames, and hardware using appropriate lifting techniques or equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Document production data, quality checks, and material usage as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
• Other duties as assigned
