Be a part of the Temp-Stop Family

Temp-Stop, established in 1998, has grown to 10 Convenience Store locations and 2 Liquor Stores. WE NEED YOU TO JOIN OUR FAMILY!

We are launching a new Coffee/Donut concept named Baxters, located in Lee's Summit. We will serve lattes and other coffee specialties, manufacture donuts for retail, and deliver them daily to our Temp-Stop locations. We seek individuals interested in overnight work, cooking, and icing donuts.

Primary Responsibilities

We desire individuals passionate about baking and eager to develop a career in this field. We ensure a safe workspace following CDC guidelines.

The role involves pastry prep, dough making, garnishing, shaping, frying, icing, and decorating donuts.

Job Duties

• Prepare food items following safety and sanitation standards
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work station and equipment
• Restock supplies as needed during shifts
• Comply with sanitation and food safety regulations
• Production typically begins at 7 am for mixers and fryers; donut icing and finishing shifts start around 9 am and conclude by 5 pm

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay is $16.00/hour, depending on experience
• Additional $0.50/hour for midnight shifts (12 am - 6 am)
• Performance reviews at 90 days and annually
• Health insurance available after 90 days
• Vacation pay, overtime pay for hours over 40, annual store profit bonus, holiday overtime pay

Manager Responsibilities

• Ensure store cleanliness and appearance
• Stock shelves and coolers
• Clean floors, windows, bathrooms, and empty trash
• Check incoming deliveries
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers
• Availability for weekend, evening, and holiday shifts
• Reliable transportation required
• Attend mandatory meetings (e.g., T.A.M., harassment training)

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting 1-15 lbs
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to reach above shoulder height and bend below waist
• Access all store areas and move quickly around the store
