You are a part of our family; Welcome Home!*****SUMMARY:**The Baker will perform various tasks to ensure that fresh baked goods are prepared and available for use by various venues at the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel.**RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Using appropriate techniques, mix, bake, or prepare ingredients to produce baked goods and desert items.* Check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.* Organize and rotate stock in pantry.* Present new menu ideas and suggestions.* Ensure compliance with all company, county, state, and federal food service laws and requirements.* Attend all department team meetings, workshops, and training sessions as delegated by supervisor.* Other projects and duties as assigned.## Qualifications**QUALIFICATIONS****Education/Experience:*** High school diploma or equivalent required.* Minimum of six months previous professional baking experience in a full service establishment.**Skills/Knowledge:*** Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.* Basic math skills required.* Strong customer service skills required.* Must be able to work well in a team environment.* Must be proficient in correct heating, cooling, reheating, and sanitation procedures.**Physical Demands**:*The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
