Job summary

The Women’s Center of East Texas Inc. in Longview, TX is seeking a Donor Support teammate for Hope's Closet. You will assist with donations, help production staff, unload and sort materials, and maintain donation records.

This full-time position requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment; candidates should be punctual and safety‑minded.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort materials in the donation area.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and issue completed donation receipts to all donors.
• Assist with loading and unloading merchandise and equipment as needed.
• Demonstrate professionalism and presents a friendly, cooperative attitude towards customers and co-workers.
• Ability to multi-task, make quick decisions and work in a team oriented, fast paced environment.
• Must be punctual and have dependable attendance.
• Must conduct work in a safe manner; maintain good housekeeping standards, have all aisles and pathways to fire extinguishers, and exits clear from clutter.
• Clean and move furniture to sales floor.
• Capable of using work equipment such as broom, mop, furniture dolly, etc.
