Job summary

California State University, Chico is seeking a Stewardship Coordinator (Advancement Professional II) who works independently to coordinate donor stewardship, recognition, reporting, and engagement activities that demonstrate the impact of philanthropy and strengthen donors' relationships with Chico State.

The incumbent manages recurring stewardship communications and deliverables, including endowment and fund-impact reports, scholarship donor materials, acknowledgments, donor-recognition

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience in donor relations, communications, or events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement donor stewardship, recognition, reporting, and engagement activities.
• Manage endowment and fund-impact reports, scholarship donor materials, acknowledgments, donor-recognition programs, and related events.
• Collaborate with development officers, campus partners, students, faculty, and university leadership to gather information, produce meaningful donor communications, maintain accurate stewardship records, and ensure commitments to donors are fulfilled in a timely and donor-centered manner.
