Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a detail‑oriented Sample Handler to collect and process donor samples for testing, record weights, label and freeze units within required timeframes, and pack them for final shipment. You will also monitor stored products and report equipment conditions, maintaining accurate donor files and high safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, can work a flexible schedule, and demonstrates strong organizational, computer, and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proven customer service standards and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and follow instructions.
• Comfortable around biological fluids and extreme temperatures.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 4–6 hours daily.
• Strong problem-solving and data-entry abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process donor samples for processing and testing
• Record the weight of products and samples
• Label samples and freeze units within the required timeframe
• Pack units for final shipment
• Pack samples and prepare shipping boxes for the testing laboratory
• Monitor stored products
• Report equipment working conditions
• Maintain accurate donor files
