Considered applicants must have a high school degree or GED; college classes are a plus. This position offers WORLD CLASS PAID on-the-job training with no experience required.

Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding position responsible for providing a safe and pleasant blood donation experience for donors. The ideal candidate should exemplify superior customer service, professionalism, donor care, and technical ability. Availability for flexible scheduling, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, is necessary. The candidate must be punctual, reliable, communicative, detail-oriented, and able to work well with others. Requirements include reliable transportation, a working telephone, the ability to stand for long periods, and lift 40 lbs regularly.

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Pay: Competitive pay based on experience; additional pay for technical school certification, degrees, and fluency in Spanish; WORLD CLASS PAID on-the-job training; $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 after 1 year!

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Perform registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat sealing, and record keeping duties related to blood collection and testing services.
2. Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures to ensure blood products meet quality standards set by regulatory agencies including the FDA.
3. Assist supervisor with verifying and completing daily paperwork.
4. Report any issues related to equipment, venipuncture, donor concerns, or equipment performance.
5. Assess donor needs throughout donation, including managing donor reactions.
6. Educate donors on blood donation facts and frequency.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
