Job summary

Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management seeks a Development Coordinator to support the Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) team in fundraising and alumni engagement. You will handle calendaring, travel planning, expense reporting, event logistics, donor communications, data management, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent preferred.
• Higher education experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal management skills.
• Confidentiality and discretion required.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Ability to learn new systems and databases quickly.
• Ability to interact professionally with senior staff

Responsibilities

• Handle daily calendaring, travel planning, and expense reports for the Associate Dean and management team.
• Coordinate materials for donor meetings and reviews.
• Track donor activities and manage reminders for next steps and follow-ups.
• Prepare reports and materials for leadership meetings.
• Support event logistics for donor engagement activities and alumni events.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally.
• Collaborate with team on special projects and cross-functional tasks.
• Liaise with external stakeholders and staff to ensure smooth operations.
