Job summary

Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management seeks a Development Coordinator to support the Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) team in fundraising and alumni engagement. Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent preferred.
  • Higher education experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal management skills.
  • Confidentiality and discretion required.
  • Strong computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Ability to learn new systems and databases quickly.
  • Ability to interact professionally with senior staff

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily calendaring, travel planning, and expense reports for the Associate Dean and management team.
  • Coordinate materials for donor meetings and reviews.
  • Track donor activities and manage reminders for next steps and follow-ups.
  • Prepare reports and materials for leadership meetings.
  • Support event logistics for donor engagement activities and alumni events.
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally.
  • Collaborate with team on special projects and cross-functional tasks.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and staff to ensure smooth operations.
