Texas Children’s Hospital is seeking a Donor Relations Advisor to advance donor engagement and fundraising outcomes. You will steward prospects and donors, manage a targeted portfolio, and collaborate with the Office of Philanthropy to secure funds and upgrade giving levels.

The role emphasizes donor reporting, stewardship planning, and cross‑functional partnerships with finance, legal, and program leaders to ensure timely, high‑quality donor communications and data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 6 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, project management, grants and/or reporting experience can substitute the required bachelor's degree.
  • 2 years of fundraising, donor relations, project management, grants and/or reporting experience preferred.
  • Stewardship experience highly preferred.
  • Broad programmatic support.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee advancement of donor reporting that is required, or highly recommended by the assigned gift officer.
  • Advance programs and services that engage new and existing prospects/donors.
  • Create annual stewardship plans for assigned donors in collaboration with gift officer.
  • Collaborate with members of the office of philanthropy to add strategic value in donor relations and engagement.
  • Collaborate and support team members to ensure on-time delivery of donor reports, which includes coordinating with finance, legal, compliance and service lines.
  • Support creative drive response and engagement with Office of Philanthropy for priority events and initiatives.
  • Record and manage donor/prospect data, activity, management and movement in fundraising technology system.
  • Maintain integrity of data in fundraising technology system.
