ROLE SUMMARY
The Donor Partnerships Manager is responsible for cultivating, securing, and stewarding both corporate sponsors and corporate donors. This role plays a critical part in advancing HOPE’s fundraising priorities by supporting high-impact events, driving corporate engagement strategies, and identifying long-term partnership opportunities. The Donor Partnerships Manager ensures a thoughtful balance between transactional sponsorship benefits and transformational corporate giving, working across departments to align funding opportunities with HOPE’s mission.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate Sponsorship & Revenue Growth
- Manage the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate sponsors and donor partners for HOPE’s national fundraising events.
- Manage sponsor relationships with a focus on long-term engagement and renewal, ensuring seamless delivery of benefits and consistent communication.
- Maintain accurate records of sponsor activity, commitments, and fulfillment in CRM systems (Salesforce), and monitor progress toward revenue goals.
Sponsor Experience & Partnership Management
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned sponsors and corporate donors, ensuring a high-quality experience before, during, and after events.
- Oversee the execution of sponsor deliverables including recognition, branding, hospitality, and custom activations, in partnership with Events and Communications teams.
- Represent HOPE at events and meetings with professionalism, warmth, and clarity of mission; serve as an organizational spokesperson when needed.
- Ensure all partner touch points are mission-aligned, relationship-driven, and positioned for renewal or increased giving.
Corporate Donor Strategy & Prospect Development
- Identify and qualify new corporate prospects through research, wealth screening, and event engagement to expand HOPE’s corporate donor base.
- Work in close partnership with the Director of Corporate Partnerships to support strategic segmentation, pipeline development, and donor movement tracking.
- Analyze donor trends and insights to inform outreach efforts, stewardship approaches, and future funding strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, corporate sponsorship, donor relations, or nonprofit development.
- Experience working with CRMs (Salesforce preferred) and fundraising platforms such as Classy.
- Ability to represent the organization professionally in donor-facing settings; public speaking
- experience preferred.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under
- direction.
- Familiarity with donor segmentation, sponsor fulfillment, and impact reporting processes.
- Knowledge of or personal connection to military culture and values is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Willingness to travel to support national fundraising events and sponsor engagement.
