Job summary

Plan International USA, Inc. is seeking a Major Gifts Associate to join the MG Team in a hybrid role based in the Washington, DC or Providence, RI area.

The position supports prospect research, proposals, donor asks, and project management, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to advance girls’ rights on a global scale. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of office experience and a background in fundraising or partnership development.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a professional office environment.
• Prior work in fundraising, partnership development, or non-profit admin is preferred.
• Undergraduate degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with international development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up workflows for MG budget invoices and payments.
• Coordinate logistics for fundraising events and conferences.
• Screen and route inbound inquiries for relevance and action.
• Manage grant portal registrations and required submissions.
• Prepare briefings and collateral for donor meetings.
