Job description

Life.Church wants to make a lasting difference in your life, in our community, and in the world. Our mission is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. The Donor Operations Manager supports the daily operations of the Donor Development team, including cross‑team coordination, executing hands‑on projects such as gifting, administering team tools, and providing support for initiatives that engage givers with the vision of YouVersion and help connect them to our ministry. This role supports the team’s direction, initiatives, and ministry efforts to achieve outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.

YouVersion, a ministry of Life.Church created in 2007, helps the church reach people worldwide through innovative technology. At Life.Church, we believe in a daily rhythm of seeking intimacy with God, and we hope everyone in our community is on an active journey to become who God made them to be, abiding in Him, and drawing closer every day.

What You’ll Do
  • Support initiatives and strategic projects in operations, logistics, purchasing, and execution of team projects.
  • Collaborate with the Donor Experience team to source, organize, and ship donor gifting experiences that thank givers and convey impact and excellence in presentation.
  • Build and lead a volunteer team to help with gifting and project execution.
  • Administer team systems and tools—HubSpot, forms, surveys, calendars, project management systems, and the triggers and integrations that acknowledge and organize gifting—and continually update and maximize them to serve the team.
  • Assist the Director of Operations with team projects and goals by creating timelines, gathering key takeaways, following up on action items, and executing deliverables across YouVersion teams.
  • Manage the expectations of internal stakeholders while providing regular updates on project milestones and timelines.
  • Track key metrics for the Donor Operations team to ensure goals, milestones, and deliverables are being met.
  • Collaborate with the Experience, Generosity, Marketing, and Donor Relations teams to plan and execute projects for Sowers, Major Donors, Foundations, Churches, and key relationships.
  • Provide logistical, relational, and experiential support to donor and church visitors as needed.
  • Act as a team ambassador and represent Life.Church culture within Central Operations, YouVersion, campuses, and to all givers.
Skills Needed to Succeed
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to maintain and foster partnerships.
  • Self‑motivation, independent decision‑making, and innovative problem‑solving.
  • Effective multi‑tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.
  • Strong process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 3–5 years of related work experience.
Benefits We Offer
  • Paid parental leave—maternity, paternity, and adoption leave.
  • Generous employer‑paid leave for vacation, sick time, and other qualifying reasons.
  • Innovative and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life insurance policy for all staff at 2× annual salary at no cost, with additional coverage available for purchase.
  • Short‑term and long‑term disability coverage at 100% for full‑time qualified staff.
  • Comprehensive wellness and mental health benefits.
  • Generous 401(k) retirement plan with up to 12.5% contribution (including employee contribution, employer match, and discretionary contribution) in the first year, increasing with tenure.
  • $160 annually in development dollars for professional growth.
