Job summary

Olney Theatre Center is seeking an experienced Advancement Officer to grow annual contributed revenue through strategic prospect research, portfolio management, donor cultivation, and stewardship. The role emphasizes relationship-building, persuasive writing, and collaborative planning to advance the theatre's philanthropic goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in fundraising or donor relations.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Tessitura CRM and wealth screening tools.

Responsibilities

• Grow annual contributed revenue through prospect research and stewardship.
• Manage the full donor engagement cycle from prospecting to solicitations.
• Cultivate relationships with individual donors and select corporate/foundation donors.
• Collaborate with the Deputy and Director of Advancement.
