Job summary

The Woodruff Arts Center’s High Museum of Art seeks a Coordinator, Special Events to support the Special Events team with administrative, operational, and logistical tasks. You will help plan and execute major fundraisers and cultivate donor experiences in alignment with organizational goals.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, collaborative, and proficient in Tessitura and Microsoft Office, with strong written and oral communication skills and willingness to work evenings and weekends as

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in event coordination.
  • CRM experience or Tessitura is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and logistical support for the Special Events team.
  • Pull customized financial and event-related reports for internal use.
  • Manage invitation lists and guest communications; track RSVPs.
  • Attend on-site event roles including check-in and guest wayfinding.
  • Assist with donor-focused event planning, logistics, and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate volunteer assignments and communications.
