Job summary

United States Golf Association (USGA) is seeking an Assistant Director, Stewardship & Donor Experience to design and execute a comprehensive donor engagement program that strengthens relationships and inspires continued support for the mission. The role leads high-impact events and personalized communications to deepen donor connections with the USGA Foundation.

The position is based in Liberty Corner, NJ on a hybrid schedule, with in-office days required Mon-Thu.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of stewardship, events, donor relations, or related fields.
• Experience designing donor stewardship strategies that support major gifts and philanthropic initiatives.
• Proven success delivering high-quality donor experiences with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and development of a comprehensive donor stewardship program.
• Plan and prepare a portfolio of high-impact donor events and experiences.
• Partner with Foundation leadership to align stewardship strategies with fundraising priorities.
• Oversee donor acknowledgment letters with personalized recognition.
• Evaluate event effectiveness and refine donor experiences.
