Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana seeks a Donation Attendant for the Lakeshore Store in New Orleans, LA. This full-time role serves donors, sorts donations, and maintains a clean, safe work environment while delivering courteous service.

Responsibilities include accepting donations, issuing receipts, and upholding company safety policies. Strong English communication and flexible availability (including weekends) are required.

Qualifications

• Must interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.
• Must explain Goodwill's mission to the public.
• Must stand/walk for long periods and bend/stretch as needed.
• Must work a flexible schedule on short notice including days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive image of Goodwill to all donors.
• Sort donated materials as instructed.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment and promote courteous service to donors.
• Accept donations from the public and issue receipts.
• Present a positive image of the Company through prompt, courteous service.
• Follow the safety policies of the Company for the work area.
